MILWAUKEE, Wis. (AP) ? Mitt Romney says President Barack Obama has spent the last few years "surrounded by an adoring staff of true believers" and is out of touch with America.

The Republican presidential hopeful was ready Tuesday to focus on the man he hopes to face in November. In excerpts of his primary night speech provided from the campaign, Romney was ready to show he can go toe-to-toe with the incumbent president.

Romney says more Americans have lost their jobs under Obama than under any other president since the Depression. He says a record number of Americans are living in poverty and the national debt is at a record high. Romney is blaming Obama for the economic recession that began under Republican President George W. Bush.
